What Is EYFS?

The 'Early Years Foundation Stage' is a statutory framework highlighting the standard schools or childcare providers are required to meet for the learning, care and development of children from birth to 5 years old.

What Does This Mean For Happy Stars?

Every single day our planning, activties, and room are set out to meet each indivdual area of learning. 

These areas are;

Our staff are trained in understanding the framework, and are constantly refreshing their knowledge and developing their own understanding. This enables us to provide the best start in your child's education, providing them the stepping stones for skills required later in life.

How Does This Benefit My Child?

Your child's Key Person will plan activties centered around your child's indidvual interests/needs/development.  Following a holisitic approach we believe each child should be part of their own learning, as we continously adapt and alter our approach, following the lead of the child.
